Season’s Greetings
As we begin to farewell 2020, we want to thank you – our industry and research participants, partners and the wider manufacturing community – and reflect on how much we have accomplished together, despite and because of the circumstances.
2020 has been a relentlessly challenging year, with COVID-19 in particular impacting people’s lives, work and every aspect of the economy. For many businesses, it has accelerated unprecedented change.
Together, we rolled up our sleeves, thought outside the box, and found new ways to secure and advance our manufacturing research projects and drive industry initiatives such as IMCRC activate and our collaboration with APR.Intern to support Australian manufacturers through the COVID recovery.
2020 will be remembered for many reasons. For us, its legacy will be of a year that tested, challenged – and more importantly – showed us what we are capable of when we come together to support each other – even if it is just via Zoom.
In 2020, manufacturing, collaboration, research and innovation have been recognised and embraced as critical to our future prosperity. Because of this, we are excited about the year ahead.
We thank you for your continued commitment and support. We look forward to working with you in 2021, and to seizing new opportunities to help Australian businesses transform and grow as well as further strengthening the collaboration between industry, research and government.
