With more than 30 years experience in the manufacturing sector, working for businesses across dairy, defence, automotive and medical products, Simon Dawson saw the uplift in terms of manufacturing technology and the unique opportunity it presents for Australian businesses, when he joined IMCRC 18 months ago.

As Director of IMCRC’s Industrial Transformation program, he works predominately with manufacturing SMEs helping them understand and embrace the concept of Industry 4.0. Using futuremap – a business diagnostic developed by IMCRC – as a quiding platform, he offers SME business leaders the opportunity to assess their current business capabilities and identify new pathways for their business to grow.
