About the event
At IMCRC, we champion manufacturing innovation and invest in talent that will shape Australia’s manufacturing future.
Since 2018, we have been collaborating with PhD students and early career researchers who are exploring new technologies and develop cutting-edge manufacturing solutions as part of IMCRC co-funded research projects.
To acknowledge their amazing work, we are launching the “unlocking potential in manufacturing” webinar series. Each month, we will invite two PhD students to present their research and explain what has sparked their interest in new manufacturing technologies such as AI, data analytics, robotics, and additive manufacturing. They will be joined by an industry expert sharing their experience and how the technology in focus has influenced their career path.
Join our next online discussion on Friday, 17 September at 3 pm when we explore how virtual and augmented reality is changing Australian manufacturing.
